The hit point and guild point regeneration rates (i.e. the number of hit points and guild points gained per heartbeat) are determined by the stats used by the skills that determine the total number of hit points and guild points, or rather their weighted geometric average. So the hit point regeneration rate relies on constitution and strength (with constitution being four times as important as strength); the guild point regeneration rate relies on the stats used by the relevant .points skill for a character's guild.
Please note that the formulas used here in no way official, but were reconstructed from the regeneration rates observed on the mud. Tests have been made with a large variety of stat arrangements, so the regeneration rates can be predicted with good accuracy; it may still be a good idea to create a test character to double check the results, though, before for example rearranging.
